No live stream this time but the real thing after the gap year as it’s finally time to return to the lovely and welcoming Alppipuisto park! The funkiest family picnic of the year, Elephantasy – Funky Family Picnic, will be organized on Saturday July 17th next to the Linnanmäki amusement park in Alppila, Helsinki. Free entry, no age limit!
And as for more than 10 years now, the emphasis of the event is in the diversity of rhythm music and cultures – this time with the following headliners live on stage: the new vanguard of Finreggae Joonas Hauveli & Rytmi-Rengit, progressive afrobeat orchestra Mama Longhorn plus the hot and eclectic underground instrumental reggae act Dub Vallila performing their live set for the first time ever! And it’s not only about the live music as you can also enjoy circus performances, workshops, acro yoga, a whole area full of activities and program dedicated to children as well as street food from all over the world!
