PELKÄÄ HYVÄÄ EXPERIENCE
Pelkkää Hyvää Experience is exactly that! Nothing but good vibes. A big band with swinging horn section and Messy Micc’s laid-back but tight flow on the mic. Hailing from East Vantaa the group released their debut EP The Experience last December and has already won over audiences this summer with their fresh and funky live performances.
The band’s frontman, Michael Bogdanov, is better known in rap circles by the name Messy Micc. He released two solo EPs a couple of years ago, but the project has since expanded into a full-scale band. A collective with that galactic soul touch and funk that is guaranteed to get everyone dancing.
SLYZZY BONE
Rap artist Slyzzy Bone is set to make the bass speakers rumble at the Stoa’s outdoor stage. Her debut single Kämmenet Maahan released in the autumn of 2023 has already made big waves on the most powerful sound systems across the country.
The Finnish-Rwandan artist released her debut EP Omin Sanoin last November in collaboration with producer LowKeys. Her latest single Cash came out in late May.
Slyzzy Bone is known to her mother as Fiona Musanga. In addition to rap music the artist is also recognized for her work in film. Alongside creating her own short films, Fiona is a key member of the team behind the fantastic Ubuntu Film Club. This time however she brings her heavy bass and rhymes full of diamonds to Eastside Elephant.

JERI-K
When someone says Jeri-K, we say freestyle boss. He’s so good with the microphone. Having owned many freestyle rap sessions Jeri-K will take the stage at Eastside Elephant to deliver some of that good ol’ rap music.
The artist released her first single in January 2024. Since then his discography has grown steadily and TEKO, released last February, was a small underground hit among the finnish rap headz. His latest single Potku Päähän was released just a few weeks ago in early July.
At Eastside Elephant the artist will first lead a rap workshop where he will introduce participants to the secrets of wording and rhyming. After that he will undoubtedly set the party’s Open Mic session on fire and finally take the stage with his own show. The master of creative lyrics and insanely good flow is guaranteed to offer a memorable afternoon in Itäkeskus.
Rap workshop
The event kicks off with a rap workshop led by rap artist Jeri-K. The experienced freestyle boss will guide participants in expressing their feelings and articulating their message, while helping to unlock the boundaries of rhyming and linguistic creativity. Come along and try it yourself or simply come to observe the art of rap in the making. The workshop is open to everyone. Participants will have the chance to write their own raps and rhymes and will get an opportunity to take part in the Open Mic session following the workshop on the Eastside Elephant stage.
