Uña de Gato on Samuel Villodasin Suomessa perustama psykedeelisen amazonialaisen cumbian yhtye. Yhtyeen musiikki yhdistää latinalaisamerikkalaiset trooppiset rytmit 1960- ja 1970-lukujen psykedeeliasta inspiroituneeseen sähkökitarasoundiin.
Lopputuloksena on hypnoottinen, intensiivinen ja vastustamattoman tanssittava kokonaisuus. Nykyisessä kokoonpanossa kohtaavat
kolme kansallisuutta – Peru, Chile ja Suomi – ja muusikot, joiden kulttuurisissa juurissa elävät tämän musiikin ainutlaatuiset rytmit ja perinteet.

Uña de Gato is a psychedelic Amazonian cumbia band founded in Finland by Samuel Villodas. Blending Latin American tropical rhythms with electric guitars inspired by the psychedelia of the
1960s and 1970s, the band creates a sound that is hypnotic, intense, and irresistibly danceable.
For more than a decade, Uña de Gato has brought together musicians from diverse cultural backgrounds through the rhythms and sonic traditions of the Peruvian Amazon. Today, the band unites artists from Peru, Chile, and Finland, combining musical traditions and cultural roots that
give their sound a distinctive authenticity.
