Radio Majava started online in spring 2020 with the collaboration of several local music professionals. Elefanttiradio is the special show of the channel dedicated to black rhythm music, hosted by Funky Amigos every week since April.
While one of the original hosts Funky Ville, who launched the program along with Sami “Magic Sam” Mannerheimo, moved abroad and was replaced by Joonas “SoulllJay” Kervinen in the summer, the show goes on as usual every Tuesday from 5 pm to 7 pm. Expect to hear loads of music from funk and soul to jazz, hip hop, reggae and various forms of black rhythm music from all over the world, hand-picked by your funky selectors. The 2-hour show will be broadcasted as a rerun every Sunday at 8 pm.
