Singer and guitarist Pietari comes with a solid hip hop background since the 90’s, while drummer Tyko Haapala, aka Tykopaatti, has been active in a variety of bands playing roots sound of Jo’ Buddy to alternative urban rhythm of The Irrationals. Mr. Old School himself, bass player Mitja Tuurala, then again has given his touch and thumb to the music of legendary Finnish artists such as J. Karjalainen, Remu and Tuomari Nurmio. Pietarin Spektaakkeli sounds amazingly fresh combining different influences from reggae to folk, blues, hip hop and garage rock, still resulting in a very down-to-earth groovy show with an edge.
